Lego Heads and Tiny Knits...

Finished the Christmas gifts for my 3 younger brothers. Incredibly happy with how it all turned out, especially since I had problems with the lego jars.

The lego jars are recycled baby food jars. I used Liquitex paint and dishwasher safe mod podge. I used dishwasher safe since I figured Mom would appreciate easy clean up. The issues I had arose from the combination of the paint and mod podge the don't work well together. I had to be careful with the first layer of mod podge over the details or it would smear it.

On the inside layers I had the issue of it bubbling after putting mod podge in it. I eventually discovered it took carefully adding the layers. I would put a layer of paint, let it dry a day, then a layer on mod podge, let it dry a day, and continued until I had four layers of paint. Sealed it with three layers of mod podge after that.

Totoro!

Made this cute little Totoro for my fiance awhile back, just didn't post anything before he saw it as I wanted it to be a surprise. ^_^

I used the pattern by Emze Knits and switched it a little bit by adding Totoro's giant smile. Totoro's smile is one of my favorite features about him, so I decided he MUST have it and rearranged his face.

He also has a voice box inside that I made a pocket for. The voice box can be removed if one would rather just have a soft creature.

He was lots of fun to make and it was even more fun giving it to my fiance after having to wait awhile to see him!

  Enjoy the photos!

Very pleased with how he turned out. ^_^

Happy dancing Totoro!

Wild Haired Men and Weeping Angels.......

It's been awhile since I posted anything here. So I thought I'd take a couple of photos of my current projects I'm working on. ^_^

This guy is a project I started for my brother a couple of years ago. Things got in the way and I am finally getting back to working on him. He wanted a manly doll, thus the wild hair and goatee!
The start of pants that I'm working on for him. My brother wanted skinny pants, so I'm working on a pattern. He will also have a sleeveless shirt, jacket, ball cap hat, and a pair of shoes when he's done. :)

The beginnings of a weeping angel for my sister. So far all that's done with her is gluing her hair in place, still have a lot to work on!

Princess Doll

So this is a doll I made for my first customer! She wanted a princess doll for her little girl and this is what I came up with. :) Enjoy the photos!

Because I'm selling this one, I had to make a tag giving credit to the designer of the body pattern. And I added myself as the designer of the hair and clothing!

Little Knit Doll.....

I made this doll for the baby I take care of. I used a pattern for the doll herself, but custom designed the outfit and hair myself. Had lots of fun putting her together!

 Lots of curly hair!

Littlefee Sweater

I finished my sweater for my girl when she gets here. I got the basic package(meaning she comes with absolutely nothing on), so she'll need some clothes when she gets here! This is the first piece to the outfit I'm working on, I still need to make some pants, socks, and shoes. I used Wovenflame's tunic sweater pattern. I added some stripes and put on some bead flowers on the neckline. I'm very happy with how it turned out and the pattern was easy to work with. I can't wait for her to get here so I can try it on!
One other thing, if you click on the photos they will get bigger so you can see the detail better.
